Snow Fight

This weekend we went up to Heather's house to go to the the concert of Voice Male. It was fun. Even Ryan liked it. He did fall asleep in the second half but he was laughing in the first half. All the kids said that they liked it, they were smiling and laughing to it as well. It was a fun time.

It started to snow when we were there and in that area if it snows hard we could get snowed in. So we decided to leave that night to head twards home. We got to Layton and decided to stop for the night.

When we got home there was a lot of snow. I had to unload the car. Ryan wanted to play in the snow, so he went inside and got his gloves and scarf on. When he came outside he picked up snow and threw it at me. He stared a snowball fight with me. He was laughing and having tons of fun. He stayed out there for at least an hour. He did not want to come in.

So I just relized that I have not been on my blog for a very long time. I figured that I better write something and tell everyone what is going on here. Sarah has her kids back with her and they are doing great. I am still teaching at Head Start here, but they have moved me to another room with a different teacher. I am excited to be teaching with this other teacher. She has been there for a while and she knows what she is doing.
Ryan is moved up to the "big kids" school now but he will not be in my classroom. I have asked for that to be that way. I believe that he will do better without me there in the room. I had him in the summer program with me and he was a big handful. The teachers that he will have will be in the room right next to mine and they are really good teachers. He will have fun there. I have another week until the kids come back into the classes but I am still really busy. This last week I have been in training and this next week I will be getting the classroom ready and doing home visits to meet our new kids and some older ones that are returning.
The rest of the schools are starting up tommorrow (Aug. 24).
I'm excited this year.
I will try to get some pictures up of Ryan so everyone can see how big he has gotten.

This Picture was taken when I scared him as he came around the corner. I love this picture.

He is peeking around the corner to Carl, Kris and I.

My Brother (Carl) Ryan and me on the net there.

Ryan wanted to push me. After I pushed him he got off and said "your turn mom." I laughed and let him push me. It was cute.

Ryan had a fun time at the park. He liked the tire swing and just running around. He didn't want to leave.

This is a Trip that I took with Ryan and Kris to Cedar City to see my brother. We had fun at the park there. Ryan loves that park. I want that park close to us. I would go every day there. These are just a few pictures of us at the Park. So enjoy.

Trip

We all had fun at the Dinosaur Museum. They had things for the kids to do. We also watched a movie in 3D. Darrin got scared. I would like to go there again sometime with the kids again. This trip was fun. We were able to stop at the museum and have fun there, the kids went swimming at the hotel, we were able to see temples and go see our cousins in Logan. They had fun. I'm glad that we made this trip. It will have to be a trip that we will try and do again I think. Maybe later in the year this time, it was a little cold at times.

Weekend in Elko

So this last few days I have been away from home and I visited Elko with my son Ryan and my boyfriend Kris. Ryan and Kris and I had fun. I think Ryan's favorite was swimming in the pool. I really enjoyed that as well. We spent the time up there shopping and just enjoying each other. There is a museum up there that I recomend to everyone to go see. It is fantastic. The picture of Devin and Dillon with teh lions is that museum. Ryan had a blast there looking at all the different animals. Kris and I are going to take the boys back this summer sometime. They still talk about it. I forgot my camera at home this weekend so I had to use a disposible camera. So the pictures of our adventures will have to be posted later, much later.
I have been looking at a Cabela's magazine this last week with the older boys. I have been looking at buying me a tent for camping this summer with all the kids. So I want a big tent. While I was in Elko I went to WalMart and I found basicly the same tent in the magazine for about $150 cheeper. So I bought it. I now have my tent to go out in the summer with. I love camping and the boys are so excited that they want all the snow to melt now so we can go. They want to set the tent up in the back yard. But it is way too cold right now. I will probably set it up at least once before I use it to go camping with my Dad's side of the family at the Family Reunion.

All Right I am challenging this....Let see who will do this....Have fun

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year. {might be a little while}
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or maybe even some creation I haven't even invented yet. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch?
Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me

Sunday, January 25, 2009

Great Grandpa Walker came into town to visit us in November. He came to see the boys and Megan proform in the Primary program at church. My dad and Cindy brought grandpa into Ely. He stayed at Aunt Connie's and Uncle Robert's house. We took an evening to go and say hi to him. The boys enjoyed seeing there Great Grandpa and Grandpa seemed to have enjoyed them. Grandpa had his BYU hat on and the boys all wanted to wear it. Darrin was the lucky one to be wearing it in this picture. Grandpa is 97 years old and I am so glad that they boys were able to see him here and enjoy his spirit. It was sad that Megan could not come with us to see Grandpa because she was sick and we did not want to get him sick. We love him so.
